NEW YORK, NY, June 6, 2017 – SUNRIGHTS INC. and agent Televix Entertainment bring BEYBLADE BURST to eager fans in Latin America with broadcast partner Cartoon Network!

 

SUNRIGHTS INC. is excited to announce its partnership on the first season of the new series of BEYBLADE entitled “BEYBLADE BURST” with Cartoon Network in Latin America! The series launched on June 2nd, 2017 and airs on Fridays.

 

“There is already hype building around the launch of the brand all over Latin America and we are expecting to see the success of the franchise rise to levels beyond the first two generations! Through our partnership with Cartoon Network, we can’t wait to bring the excitement of BEYBLADE BURST to passionate fans all over the region!” says Kaz Soeda, the Managing Director of SUNRIGHTS INC.

 

The show’s placement follows the success of BEYBLADE BURST in other global markets where the animated hit series launched on Teletoon and Disney XD in Canada in the Fall of 2016, and on Disney XD in the US in December of 2016. BEYBLADE BURST is also airing in Australia on Channel Go! and is rolling out to broadcasters all over Europe later this Summer and Fall.

 

The BEYBLADE BURST product line from Hasbro will hit the shelves in Latin America shortly after the broadcast launch. The tops feature a dynamic “burst” component, bringing more excitement to the successful battling play pattern. Fans can elevate their physical play to a digital playing field by scanning their BEYBLADE BURST tops into the BEYBLADE BURST app (available in the App Store and Google Play) allowing them to customize and battle with their collection digitally with friends through local Wi-Fi.

 

Televix is currently in negotiations to secure broadcast on Free TV and other platforms throughout Latin America, and is also in negotiations to secure Licensing and Merchandising deals in the region.
